United Airlines Boeing 777 towards Brussels, Belgium returns to Newark after possible bird strike

On 23 November, a United Airlines Boeing 777-300 (registered N2534U) was scheduled to operate flight UA999 between New York Newark, United States and Brussels, Belgium. Shortly after take-off, the crew reported a possible bird strike and returned to Newark.

The aircraft safely landed back at Newark,” United Airlines said in a statement. The aircraft was cleared to operate the flight to Brussels, where it landed with a delay of three hours.
